Calling all witches, wizards, and magical creatures! ✨🪄

The Historic Fischer Theatre is joining the magic of Downtown Danville's First Fridays Potterfest with a special screening of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them!

Step into the wizarding world for an enchanting evening at the Fischer! Grab a delicious Butterbeer in the lobby, explore the Farmers Market under our historic marquee, and stop by The Shoppe at the Fischer for Potter-themed candy and a little extra magic! The Shoppe will also be an official stop on the Potterfest scavenger hunt, so be sure to add it to your adventure before settling in for the movie.

Set decades before Harry Potter's adventures at Hogwarts, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them follows magizoologist Newt Scamander as he arrives in 1920s New York City with a suitcase full of extraordinary magical creatures. When some of his fantastic beasts escape, Newt finds himself caught up in an adventure filled with magic, mystery, and unexpected friendships.

Whether you're a lifelong fan of the wizarding world or discovering its magic for the first time, this is one Potterfest celebration you won't want to miss!

Bring your fellow witches, wizards, and Muggles for a magical Friday night in Downtown Danville!
