Solstice: a Winter Circus Experience

Step into a dreamscape this holiday season at Danville's historic Fischer Theatre. Solstice follows a girl who loses her light and stumbles into a world where time bends, memories breathe, and the familiar becomes impossibly strange. Shadows dance, snow drifts fall, and acrobats blur the line between the everyday and the extraordinary. More than a circus, Solstice is a living poem, a place where nostalgia meets surreal wonder and audiences of all ages rediscover the childlike awe of seeing snow for the first time.

Brought to Danville, IL by Circus EVO, the show features an original score by North Carolina artist Bella Nona and all-new elements for 2026. It runs 75 minutes with no intermission, and it has no spoken language, so the whole family can follow along. The show uses lighting and fog effects. Make the Saturday before Christmas something your family remembers!
