Hailing from Gainesville, Florida (Tom Petty's hometown!), The Broken Hearts deliver an authentic, high energy tribute that faithfully recreates the excitement of a live Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers concert. Formed in 2017 by former Mudcrutch and Tom Petty bandmate Charlie Souza, the group was built with one goal in mind: to honor the music and legacy of Tom Petty with the authenticity and passion it deserves.
Charlie Souza, who has also performed with legendary artists including Gregg Allman, Vanilla Fudge, and The New Rascals, joined forces with acclaimed singer-songwriter Shawn Scheller to assemble a powerhouse lineup of professional musicians dedicated to bringing these timeless songs to life.
