Join us at the Fischer Theatre on Tuesday, November 10 for the premiere of local film: Sibling’s Bond.
Sibling’s Bond is a coming-of-age psychological drama. After a fateful incident, Eric Woods leaves home and takes refuge in the forest, where memories of childhood and the weight of recent events begin to close in around him.
Written and directed by Noah Taylor, Sibling’s Bond began as his first script, written when he was 16. Over the next nearly two years, Noah, Eli Reeves, Silas Reeves, and a group of local friends worked together to turn that script into a finished independent film.
The film stars Silas Reeves, whose dedication to the role was matched only by his commitment to buffalo plaid, with Eli Reeves serving as camera operator and editor alongside Noah throughout the production.
They filmed through changing seasons, cold nights, rain, woods, river locations, reshoots, and all the problem-solving that comes with making a movie from the ground up.
Now, after nearly two years of work, the film is finished—and this is the first chance to see it together on the big screen!
