“ManDate” Film Screening at the Fischer Theatre

Join us on April 10th for a special screening of the indie comedy “ManDate” starring Saturday Night Live legend Jon Lovitz at the historic Fischer Theatre!

Doors open at 5:30 PM and the film begins at 6:30 PM. Admission is free with a freewill donation, with proceeds benefiting the ongoing preservation and programming of the Fischer Theatre.

In “ManDate,” Jon Lovitz tackles the male loneliness epidemic with his signature irreverent humor as an unconventional self-help coach guiding a group of socially awkward men through the unpredictable world of male bonding. It’s one hilariously uncomfortable “man-date” at a time.

Producer and actor Don Worley describes the film as a comedy with heart: “What started as a funny idea about awkward guys trying to make friends quickly hit a nerve. Many men struggle with loneliness, but it’s rarely talked about. So we wrapped that truth in absurdity, and Jon Lovitz ran with it.”

The film follows Don Worley as he navigates grief, viral fame, and a wildly unconventional life coach who challenges him to rethink what a “happy life” really means.

“ManDate” features an ensemble cast including Louis Lombardi (The Sopranos), Andrew Keegan (10 Things I Hate About You), Tara Reid (American Pie), Chris Kattan (Saturday Night Live), Robert Davi (Die Hard), and Carl McDowell (Ballers).
