Kick off the holiday season Fischer Theatre–style with Doorbusters & Blockbusters, our very own Black Friday movie celebration! On November 28th, after the early-morning shopping, the crowds, and the bargain hunting, step into the warm glow of the historic Fischer and unwind with two beloved Christmas favorites on the big screen.

Settle in for an afternoon of pure festive fun as we bring you the slapstick cheer of “Elf” at 3 PM and the classic Griswold holiday chaos of “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation” at 6 PM. Whether you're coming to recover from shopping (or avoid it altogether) this double feature is the perfect way to spark your holiday spirit!

We’ll be serving hot cocoa to keep things cozy and spiked hot cocoa for the grown-ups who need an extra dash of holiday cheer.

Admission is by free-will donation, so bring your family, bring your friends, and help support the continued restoration and programming of the Fischer Theatre.
