Annie - Presented by Spotlight Performing Arts
Leapin’ lizards! The beloved Broadway classic Annie comes to life on the Fischer Theatre stage in a heartwarming production full of laughter, optimism, and unforgettable songs. Set in 1930s New York City during the Great Depression, Annie tells the story of a plucky young orphan determined to find her family and the unexpected adventure that leads her to billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his kindhearted secretary Grace, and the scheming Miss Hannigan. With timeless favorites like “Tomorrow,” “East Street,” and “It’s the Hard-Knock Life,” this full-length musical captures the spirit of hope that reminds us all the sun will come out again.
This production features a remarkably large cast of over 70 local performers, including 53 orphans, the largest ensemble Spotlight Performing Arts has ever brought to the Fischer stage! Their energy, dedication, and heart make this a truly community-wide celebration of talent.
