From August 14 to August 17th 2003, the Vermilion Heritage Foundation Board sponsored the production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. It was the first fully staged production to hit the stage of the Fischer in 80 years. The ribbon cutting ceremony on opening night set the stage for an historic event that will not soon be forgotten by anyone in attendance.

All five shows sold out, and for some shows we added seats and still turned people away. The grand old lady came to life with the tale of Joseph, his brothers, and their father Jacob.
